Once you have found your roof, please read the direction of your roof using our compass to the right of the map, also you roof can be assessed to make sure it complies with our size and shading guidlines below.

Check Direction

The panels must face somewhere between SE and SW via South. Other directions are NOT suitable. See Below

Check Size

You must have at least 8 square metres of space to locate the panels. This is roughly the same size as two family cars. See Below

Check Shading

Solar PV Panels must not be shaded by buildings, trees, chimneys etc. or they will be much less efficient. See Below

Roof Direction

The Solar PV panels must face somewhere between South East and South West via South. All other directions are NOT suitable i.e. West, North West, North, North East and East. Please compare your roof against the examples below to make sure it is suitable.

If your roof is suitable, select the nearest of the three available options on the application form. If you are still unsure, select Not Sure and one of our Energy Advisors at Source Enviro Tech will verify this with you over the telephone.

Roof Directions


Roof Size

You must have at least 8 square metres of space to locate the panels. This is roughly the same size as 2 family cars. Looking at your property on the map above and any cars parked nearby, try to imagine them on the roof.

If your roof is big enough, select 8m2 Or Above in the Panel Space section. If you are still unsure, select Not Sure and one of our Energy Advisors will verify this with you over the telephone.

Roof Size

Please note this is only a guide and by positioning the pv pannels correctly we can normaly install at least a 1kWp System onto 99.9% of roofs and if a bigger system is required by working together generally we can think of a solution.



Roof Shading
